Your Local Guide in Istanbul & Turkey 
I was n the tour with Mr. Reynolds (Hi Ray and Maggie) it was wonderful. Erol collected us from the airport and took us to our hotel.
For the rest of the tour he was our constant companion and our friend. His knowledge was excellent his patience endless.
Turkey is the best place i have visited and Erol was by far the the best tour guide i have had. I can not speak highly enough of his dedication to the “Program” and the little extra local highlights he included.
I hope to return to Turkey and again see Erol I will highly recommend him to anyone intending to tour there and wish him and his family alll the best now and in the future.
Erol is a very nice guy and a very guide. He took us through some of the most important monuments in Istanbul, explaining us everything about them, and also putting them in the historical perspective. The way he explained made his message very clear to us.
We then followed his recommendations for the next day, and we had a nice day too, a very nice Istanbul experience.
I strongly recommend that any visitor to Istanbul call Erol for a tour, in order to discover all the secrets of that city
Erol is simply everything I wished for in a guide and more! He is very knowledgeable and passionate about his city. We did a walking tour around Istanbul for almost 9 hours and simply was amazing. All the major spots were covered and the whole atmosphere was very pleasant. He was flexible and went along with all my requests. We used the bus system and Metro and by the end I felt very confident to visit Istanbul on my own. Highly recommended with no doubt! thank you Erol
Hi Erol, How I enjoyed our trip. Nan did too. You are a great tour guide and have a vast knowledge. Thank you for all your effort, all you did for us and for keeping the trip “All Turkish”. I have done a fair bit of reading since returning, but there is just SO much reading one can do.
We had a wonderful holiday in Turkey with you and
Hanis. We all felt very fortunate to be guided by you, with your wonderful
knowledge and enthusiasm for your beautiful country. We also enjoyed Hanis and
his driving was amazing. It was an added bonus to us that Alan and I and Barry
and Judy were the only guests on board.
Once again, thankyou for showing us Turkey.

Our guide, Erol, was extremely knowledgeable and efficient and religiously
stuck to the set program. His English was good and he was most attentive to our
needs and conscious of our safety. He served us very well. He was a very nice
guy and coped extremely well with our only “emergency”… a badly cut hand which
required hospital attention. Nothing was too much trouble for him. As he started
to comprehend Aussie humour, he became very close to the group. It was great
that Erol and Hasil, at our request, joined us at many meal times to explain and
expand on Turkish food and customs. On the last day of the tour Erol, although
officially “off duty”, turned up at the hotel to ensure that 2 couples got off
to the airport on time and assisted the remaining 3 get to their shopping
destination.
Hello Erol, I hope things are going well for you since our departure. I again want to thank you for being such a wonderful guide. Your knowledge, caring and patience made our visit much more rewarding and enjoyable than it might have been.
If you ever decide to visit the Boston area, please know that you have a place to stay and I will be happy to show you around.

Erol is an outstanding person to work with. He is enthusiastic, highly dependable, conscientious, highly motivated and displays an energetic self-starter personality. The group found him to be very personable and methodical in his approach. We could not have been more pleased with the information he provided us about Istanbul and all the sites we visited. In short Erol Utgun is top of the line! His knowledge, explanations, insights and anecdotal stories were nothing short of superb! The group could not get enough of him, and he was always asked to join us for lunch and dinner.
Needless to say the group thoroughly enjoyed and loved Erol! Especially noteworthy is his “Can Do” attitude and attention to detail. For example, on the evening prior to our day of departure, after a late dinner, he stayed in the lobby of the hotel so that he could accompany us to the airport at 3:30 AM. In short he exceeded all our expectations; his dedication is unparalleled!!
